When I was young I had a life plan....it included major milestones in life such as getting my driver's liscense, graduating college, and finding a job. I think most kids grow up with similiar goals. Somewhere along the way my goals changed. They became more focused on things that really mattered. I wanted to find a man to share my life with, I wanted to have children and I wanted to be someone that my family and friends were proud of. I think that is what they call growing up..... That being said....I have grown up. I am happily married to my best friend, I am the mother to three young children and I hope that I am someone my family and friends are proud of. I did all of those other things too! I passed my driver's test with flying colors, graduated from Southern Methodist University with a dual degree in Marketing and Organizational Business (I went on to get my MBA with a speciality in Marketing Research as well) and after a few other "stops" along the way, I found a job that I love. I found a calling in real estate...which was a surprise. I don't ever remember growing up thinking I wanted to sell real estate, but somehow life presents opportunities that just work out. My husband started a residential construction business almost 10 years ago and I quickly realized that selling his products was a way to contribute to our family income and still stay home to raise my kids. I started selling his homes 6 years ago and what started as a way to help my husband evolved into a way to help other families. I had many friends that were looking to buy or sell homes so I started to help them navigate through the process. We all had similiar lifestyles....mostly involving our kids..and what we found was this... IT IS HARD TO BUY AND SELL YOUR HOME WITH KIDS! It can take a lot of time and that is something that any parent knows is precious. So...that being said I started to create a "Family Focused" real estate company. I understand that your family is central to everything you do in life. A house should be a home. It shouldn't be a source of stress or unease. I have tried to create an atmosphere where your family can fully participate in the real estate transaction. I understand what families mean when they say, "I need a yard my kids can play in" or "I don't want my kids' rooms far away from mine". I also understand how hard it can be to look at houses or sell your own when you are dealing with naptimes, soccer games, and early bedtimes. My real estate business is focused on making buying and selling your home a fun experience. I understand your priorities....and they are not the details of real estate transactions!
